Ali Modu-Sheriff Finally Decamps To APC, Targetes Vice Presidential Candidate In 2019

Emerging report has revealed that the former embattled Chairman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ali Modu-Sheriff, has finally decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

As at the time of filing this report, Sheriff was currently meeting with Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, in Abuja.

Post-Nigeria recalls, that Sheriff was reported to have been approached by some APC stakeholders, in the Borno State, to rejoin their fold; a report that had been described as untrue by the Borno APC coalition.

Osinbajo went into the closed-door meeting with Sheriff, shortly after presiding over a meeting of the National Economic Management Team.

Sources revealed that Ali Modu-Sheriff has finally dumped the PDP for the APC ahead of 2019; and that was what orchestrated the meeting between him and Osinbajo.

Another Presidential source also alleged that Sheriff is making permutation to emerge as the Vice Presidential candidate of the APC, in 2019, if Buhari decides to hand over the 2019 Presidential ticket to Osinbajo.
