As is the tradition in the country, the meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and Queen Elizabeth has been compared with the same meeting of former president Goodluck Jonathan with the British Monarch.

President Buahri, who was one of the leaders that attended CHOGM recently in Malta, met Queen Elizabeth 11.

Similarly, when Goodluck Jonathan was Nigeria’s president, he attended Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre in Western Australia on 28 October 2011, where he also met with the British monarch at the meeting.
