STILL ON ABUBAKAR AUDU'S DEATH

Abubakar Audu was the APC governorship candidate in the Kogi State governorship Nov. 2015 election. Before his death, he was elected governor of the State between 1992-1993, under the platform of the National Republican Convention(NRC), before military coup in August 1993.
He came back as governor again in 1999 under the ANPP (All Nigeria’s Peoples Party) till in 2003 when he was defeated after seeking for re-electio.

In 2015 Kogi State governorship election, APC elected him (Abubakar Audu) as the party’s flag bearer to help them reclaim the State from the ruling party in the State (PDP) Peoples Democratic Party, as a popular candidate he was.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t live to witness/celebrate his to be victory, as INEC (The
Independent Electoral Commission) on Sunday 22nd November, 2015 pronounced the election inconclusive after discovered that did not hold in polling units in the State.
Now
the main issue/question
As Abubakar Audu campaigned vigorously for his people with all he had promised to do for his people if elected as governor of the State. One of his campaign promises was to transform the Kogi State in a way that people who know the State would hardly recognize it when they visit the State again,.
Secondly,
People of Kogi State will never experience poverty again if he is elected as
governor.
The
question one would want to ask is:
Abubakar Audu who had the opportunity in the two occasions between 1992-1993 and between 1999-2003, to transform his State failed to do so, when he had them rather; he used his opportunities to enrich himself and his generations (future generations).
The most worse part of it was that that he promised to return what he had stole (his lootings) from the State treasure once he become governor.
But, unfortunately, for him the much awaited celebration turned to bereavement on Sunday, when he slump and died in the process. His death should teach those desperate politicians, the power mongers a big lesson.
When you have opportunity to help people or to serve people or to work for people, make best use of that opportunity because, know one knows tomorrow. When you have your own turn for something, pave way for others to try their own.
As
for the election to be given to the APC running mate to Abubakar Audu or not,
in my own opinion, in a relay, when a starter is being a red flag for false
start, or he falls on the process of reaching the last line, even though he is
getting first position his/her team mate cannot be allowed to replace him or
her weather his is finishing with 7.5.00 while others are finishing with 10.12
thus not mater.
