In a German lower League match between TSG and FC Oberlausitz, TSG begged the officials for a penalty when one of their players seemed to be fouled in the box, as they were trailing 1-0 at home.

After discussions with his linesmen, referee Norbert Giese refused to award the spot-kick, and when pressured by the players, the referee pressed heads with TSG’s Fabio Viteritti, and he fell down. Did the referee headbutt the player? Seems he did. Watch the video after the 1.50 mins mark after the cut.
