Chief Mao Ohuabunwa has received the certificate of return, as he floors his opponent during Abia North electoral rerun in Abia state, held last Saturday, 5th March, which he polled the total number of 29,009 votes, making him the winner of the rerun election and emerged as the senator representing Abia North senatorial district.

Yesterday, INEC issued him the certificate of return, according to him;

"I just collected my CERTIFICATE OF RETURN from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The exercise makes the end of the journey that commenced on the 5th of March 2016. I give glory to God almighty. 

"It ended in praise. Ndi Abia North I salute you and remain committed to my pledge to render effective and qualitative representation.
