UNIPORT Student killed in student's protest

A student of the University of Port Harcourt named Peter Ofurum and said to be the Faculty president of Management Sciences, (pictured above) was allegedly shot dead by the police during a protest by the students this morning over the increment in school fees and the "no school fees-no examination" policy of the school.

The students allege that police officers brought in to maintain law and order, fired gunshots which hit the deceased, killing him.
