Alleged wife killer, Lekan Shonde, goes on hunger strike, autopsy result on deceased wife ready in two days

Alleged wife killer Lekan Shonde, has gone on hunger strike since he turned himself in to the police on Monday May 9th. Lekan who is being detained at the State Criminal Investigation & Intelligence Department (SCIID) at Panti, Yaba, Lagos, has refused to eat since he arrived at his detention place.

Lekan is accused of beating his wife and mother of two, Ronke Shonde, to death at their home in Egbeda. Meanwhile the police yesterday conducted autopsy on late Ronke Shonde at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja. The result will be ready in two days.
