Biafra Youth League Backs Niger Delta Avengers
Delta – The Deputy President of the Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL), Ebuta Victor Takon, has come out in support of the Niger Delta Avengers, the rampaging new militant group in the oil-rich region.
Takon, thus called for dialogue between the Government and the militant group in order to end bombing of pipelines.

The state is among the worst affected by the ongoing communal clashes that have claimed over 1 000 this year.
Takon extended condolences to the families of those killed by the herdsmen.
“It is quite unfortunate that the attack was planned in the
neighbouring middle belt and shocking to know that some people from
middle belt were part of it. We will not tolerate any further attacks on
our people. It is an assurance.”

The emergent Niger Delta Avengers has embarked on a violent crusade against the alleged inequitable distribution of oil wealth.
Last Thursday, a strike team hit the Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC) crude and gas lines feeding the Warri and Kaduna refineries.
Earlier, the militants blew up the Chevron valve platform as different security agencies and militants held separate undisclosed meetings to re-appraise their tactics, following a fresh directive by President Muhammadu Buhari that the group, which claimed responsibility for the recent bombing of oil/gas installations in Warri, Delta State, be overpowered.
