According to sources, other villagers fled the community in fear of the attack.
Calls put through from our newsroom to the police to confirm this incident remained unanswered, but our source said the invaders armed with sophisticated weapons had unleashed terror and mayhem on the unsuspecting community dwellers sparking a bloodbath before the arrival of the policemen.

Before the attack, the village dwellers saw some movement by the herdsmen, but made several calls to the police, unfortunately there was no security in sight while the attack lasted.
