EFCC Is Plotting To Kill Fani-Kayode In Detention – Relative

Fani-Kayode in his various messages to his Attorney, wife and friends is visibly worried that he might be killed by Nigerian government agents operating under various disguise in the Prison.
They are using various torture, intimidation tactics to force him to plead guilty of offence(s), he is sure of being innocent, refund funds he spent judiciously on behalf of Fani-Kayode’s refusal to yield to these threats are among the reason they may knock life out of him and blame his death on natural cause.
Sadly, yesterday, he called his wife and Attorney in a frightening voice about another physical assault in the anti-graft commissions detention facility in Lagos where one Islamist extremist, Officer Suleman Kabiru forced him to stop saying his prayers, praise and worship and Bible study in the detention center.
The officer who is enraged seeing Mr Fani-Kayode reading the Bible, snatched it from him and threw away the Holy book and immediately pounced on him.
Apart from the timely intervention of other Prison staff and security men, officer Suleman Kabiru should have strangled Fani-kayode inside the detention centre. The visibly furious Officer Kabiru was shouting at him, “I will kill you, this infidel!”, “I will kill you, this infidel!.
The visibly shaken Fani-Kayode, a victim of torture said that he will not stop praising God or reading his Bible and told the officer as he was being dragged away by his colleagues, that, ‘My God is bigger than you. You can’t stop me from worshiping my God’.
Chief Fani-Kayode, a vocal critic of Buhari government’s out-of-date policies was arrested on May 9, 2016 when he honoured an invitation by the EFCC for questioning over campaign funds paid into his account by the Goodluck Jonathan Presidential Campaign Organisation during the 2015 election campaigns.
He has met the stringent conditions for an administrative bail but is still being held by the EFCC. The Judge for his case, which is still unclear, has avoided coming to the court for the second time in a roll for unexplained reason.
Chief Fani-Kayode may need immediate medical attention to avoid the repeat of incident of other accused dying inside the EFCC detention camp or their technically being rushed to hospitals when the Commission are certain that they will not survive the torture and various attacks while in prison.
