Tension mounts as Nnamdi Kanu goes to court today amidst STRONG allegations of fresh plot to assassinate him

Tension is mounting over recent revelation made by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) that there is a fresh and active plot to assassinate Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader currently being detained illegally by the Nigerian government.

Kanu would be appearing at a Nigerian Federal High Court in Abuja today to face trump up allegations of treason preferred against him by the Nigerian government. Kanu and the IPOB have been calling for the self-determination of Biafrans, which has made them ardent foes to the Hausa-Fulani-controlled Nigerian government.

The revelations of the plot to assassinate Kanu was made during a live Radio Biafra broadcast (19th June, 2016) monitored by The Biafran. According to Dr Chukwuemeka Clifford Iroanya, the Coordinator of all Coordinators (COC) of the IPOB, the plot to assassinate would be activated during a planned military putsch to remove 'General' Muhammadu Buhari from power, by certain elements of the Hausa-Fulani oligarchy in the Nigerian army. Iroanya stated that some elements of the United States and the British government are privy of the ongoing plot to topple Buhari’s government via on due to his failing health.

Buhari's failing health is raising concerns among the top echelons of the Northern Oligarchy who fear he may be incapacitated to complete his tenure as the President of Nigeria, thereby warranting his vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, who is from the South West to mount the throne - as it happened with Lte Umaru Yar'adua. This may not go down well with the Hausa-Fulani oligarchs, hence the need to avert it via a coup d’etat.

Consequently, the Hausa-Fulani soldiers would use the chaotic situation after the coup to eliminate Kanu, who they perceive as a dangerous foe that would liberate Biafrans.

It was also revealed that some members of the defunct Supreme Council Of Elders (SCE) are also complicit in this impending attack against Nnamdi Kanu who has been imprisoned since the 14th of October 2015.

The whole world is now put on notice to be wary of this plot by the Nigerian government in collaboration with the Western government to create anarchy into the country.
