US Soldier returns home to surprise his daughter at her High School graduation

After spending nine months planning a surprise visit, a soldier made a quick return home from service to surprise his daughter in time for her high school graduation. Master Sgt. Derrick Morris was not due back from serving in Kuwait until September and he told his daughter, Camille Morris, he would not get to see her graduate.

Derrick however had another plan in mind. He arranged with the principle of his daughter's school, Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, to be able to surprise his little girl and keep it a secret.

When the day came, the sergeant made a huge entrance in front of the entire school and completely shocked her.

Camille burst into tears at the sight of her father and rushed to hug him. When asked how she felt afterwards, she said, 'I didn't want to let go, I wanted to hold on to him. It would've been a year in September since I'd seen him, probably would've missed my 18th birthday, too.'

Derrick Morris will now spend a few days together with his family before he returns back to Kuwait.
