Economic hardship has send a civil servant to his early grave after protesting over unpaid salaries



A member of the Kogi state civil service, Sali Ndarusa who worked with the state's Ministry of Education in Lokoja the state capital, died on Tuesday July 19th after he fell during a protest with his colleagues over their six months unpaid salaries. 



According to Rariya, Ndarusa who was rushed home after the fall, died when his family members could not raise money for him to buy food and medicine. He has been buried according to Islamic rites.
