Militants last warning to FG
The group in a short statement has said that Buhari must hear their demands or Nigeria will face their deadliest action in the coming weeks.
General Commander of the NDJDG said: “We are responsible for the blowing up of oil pipelines at B-dere in Gokana local government area of Rivers state on Saturday July 16, 2016.
“This is still part of our warning to the federal government to hearken into our demands or face our deadliest action in the coming weeks.” The group earlier attacked pipelines in Tai local government area of Rivers state.
The militants earlier listed five demands to the government of President Muhammadu Buhari. They asked to be allowed to control the oil output in the Niger Delta region and to immortalize activists who died during the struggle for better life for the oil-rich region among others.
