POLICE MAN TRIED SNATCHING BIAFRIAN FLAG FROM YOUTH IN STADIUM IN ENUGU

There was a mild drama during a football match between Rangers of Enugu and Abia Warriors of Umuahia at the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Enugu on Friday night, July 8. One of the youths at the stadium was seen displaying the Biafran flag as they moved around dancing to Ogene music, Daily Post reports.
A police officer was said to have tried snatching the flag from him but met stiff opposition as the youths descended on him.

The officer reportedly escaped being lynched as some youths moved towards him shouting, “Wetin, Wetin, Wetin.”

He was said to have scampered for his life.
