‘Buhari is a Failure’ and he should resign - BBOG

A leader of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement, on Thursday branded President Muhammadu Buhari a “failure” for his inability to rescue the abducted Chibok girls.

Speaking on Thursday after the police barred the movement from entering the villa —the second time in four days — Yesufu “dared” the president to “stand up and behave like a man”.

“Mr President you are a failure, I dare President Muhammadu Buhari, you should stand up and behave like a man,” she said.

Also, relatives of the abducted Chibok girls, at the same movement, have accused the Nigerian government of abandoning their daughters to suffer in captivity, and have called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign if he cannot rescue the girls.

The protest march, the second in the week, was organized by the BringBackOurGirls group.

A representative of the parents, Rev. Enoch Mark, accused the Federal Government of not doing enough to rescue the girls, saying the government should negotiate for their release.

He said, “We cast our votes for Buhari because he promised to rescue our girls. Now, the parents are asking you, Mr. President, to meet the insurgents and make a decision.

“Either use the military force or go for negotiation; some countries are ready to give you a helping hand. What are you waiting for? Are you not interested in bringing back our girls?
