New Ogun Permanent Secretary dies 24hrs after Swearing-In


One out of the fourteen Permanent Secretaries, sworn in by Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun yesterday, Mrs Olubunmi Odumusi has died.

Olubunmi died in her sleep in the bedroom on midnight of Friday, at the age of 57. She is said to have been battling a prolonged cancer ailment.

Vanguard learnt that the ailment has gulped huge money from the family to get the deceased treated both within and outside Nigeria.

Odumusi was a thoroughbred journalist who rose to the rank of a Director at the Ogun State Ministry of information and Strategy, before her recent elevation to the post of Permanent Secretary. May her soul rest in peace.
