Again Fulani Herdsmen terrorist invade Delta community

At least, one person has been reportedly injured following an invasion of Osissa community in the Ndokwa-East Local Government Area of Delta State by gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.
Our correspondent learnt on Sunday that the agrarian community was invaded last Friday and Saturday leaving one Mr. Lawrence Okutu critically injured.
It was gathered that the number of casualties would have been higher but for the intervention of local vigilant group, which confronted the herdsmen.
A source, who identified himself as Mr. Uche Agu, told our correspondent on the telephone that it was the third time the community had come under attacks by the herdsmen.
Agu said trouble started when farmers asked the herdsmen to stop destroying their farms.
The victim, Okutu, reportedly attacked on Saturday morning by the herdsmen, was said to be receiving treatment at a private clinic, while many residents, it was also learnt, had fled the community to safety.
Two Fulani herdsmen, it was gathered, were later arrested by policemen from the Ashaka Police Station on Saturday while the other members of the group fled with their cattle.
