Kaduna Youths set Shi’ite leader’s house ablaze
According to a report from the online medium, the house of the leader of the Shi’ite in Tudun Wada, Kaduna State, Sheikh Sahabi Murktar, has been set ablaze by suspected youths.
It has also been alleged that about two people were reportedly killed in the process.
The report also has it that there was a procession by the Shi’ite members in Kaduna between 8-9am Wednesday morning. The procession reportedly took off from Bakin Ruwa through Sabon Gari to Tudun Wada in the state capital.

The procession, according to available information was in commemoration of the death of one of the Shiite leaders (Ashura) who is usually celebrated worldwide. The procession went on despite the law by the state government banning the activities of the group in Kaduna State.

Dailypost reported that there is a heavy presence of armed security at designated places in Kaduna metropolis who were busy trying to ensure peace and security of lives and property.

Meanwhile, at Baban Dodo in Zaria, there was a heavy security presence to ensure normalcy in the area.
