Mr. James Anyalakwe
Press Release:

The arrest of Emeh James Anyalakwe, the editor in Chief of Igbere TV an online media platform by the men of the State Security Service has come to us as a shock, Emeh James Anyalakwe happens to be the President of Abia Online Media Practitioners and as a Union we are not happy about his arrest and detention.
Freedom of the Press is one very key factor in any democracy and whenever the media is silenced then what is in practice is not democracy. We call upon the National Director of State Security Service to release Emeh James Anyalakwe immediately and follow appropriate process to seek remedy on any issue they find offensive with the publication of Igbere TV.
