Abducted Ekiti INEC secretary freed

Barely 24 hours after the Administrative Secretary, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ekiti State, Mr. Muslim Omoleke was kidnapped on Thursday by unknown gunmen, he has now regained his freedom. The Police have confirmed his release, but didn’t explain how he was released.

It will be recalled that Mr Omoleke was travelling in his official car with his daughter and driver, when he was stopped and whisked away. We are happy about the news.
