Just In: Protests In Delta as Soldiers Invade Tompolo's region again

Nigeria soldiers have again, invaded Oporoza, the traditional headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom where former militant leader, Government Ekpemukpolo aka Tompolo hails from, Vanguard reports.

The mission of the military men was unknown as at press time, but sources from Warri south west local government in Delta state informed that women and young adults in the community scampered for safety.
Residents in the neighboring Azama were also said to have flooded the streets as they were all confused with the soldiers’ sudden ‘attack’, but they have appealed to the government to warn the soldiers from continuing with the intimidation.

Chief Godspower Gbenekama, the Ibe-Benemowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom and acting Secretary of the Gbaramatu Traditional Council confirmed that the soldiers got into their town this morning.

Meanwhile, some women from the region have staged a massive protest against the invasion of the military on their territory.
