Orji Kalu joins APC

Reports have it that the former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has formally joined the the All Progressives congress, APC.

Recall that Kalu had a few days ago released a statement of his resignation from a party he founded during the time he was the governor of Abia State.

The Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA), which was founded by Kalu, produced Chief T. A Orji and Chief Ikedi Ohakim as governors of Abia and Imo states respectively in the 2007 polls.

Meanwhile, Dailypost quoted Kalu as saying in his speech while joining APC that he decided to join the party following pressure from friends and well wishers.
