Orji Uzor Kalu pays courtesy visit to Nnamdi Kanu in Kuje Prison today
The former Abia State governor Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu today, paid a visit to the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Kuje Prison, Abuja.
Mazi Kanu has been in detention since last year, October 2015 despite several court orders to release him on bail.
Nnamdi Kanu, who hails from the South Eastern part of Nigeria, the region that is agitating for a separate nation called Biafra.
Having been the arrowhead of the Indigenous people of Biafra IPOB, Kanu was detained on a 6 count charges, including 'Treasonable Felony' by the Nigerian Federal Government.
He has been arraigned several times without bail.
