Video: Nigerian Govt ready to offer employment to 'drop outs' like Boko Haram, IPOB, Avengers - Ngige

The minister of labour and employment Chris Ngige has stated that the federal government will offer massive employment to Boko Haram insurgents in north-east Nigeria, IPOB members in the eastern region and the avengers in the south-south.
The minister spoke on Tuesday in Abuja at the Special Town Hall Meeting for the Youths held at the Presidential Villa.

Referring to people with low or no academic qualifications, he said: “… These are the people you have in Boko Haram, IPOB and avengers ― when we give them jobs, they will not be out there.
“Job creation is everybody’s business, it’s not the business of my ministry alone but we do the co-ordination,” he said.
The minister reiterated the present administration’s commitment towards curbing youth unemployment, using different mechanisms such as N-Power ― a social intervention programmes and mass recruitment in various paramilitary agencies and parastatals of government.
