Photos: Robbers invade banks kill policemen

Heavily armed bank robbers looted two banks in the university town of Iwo, Osun State this afternoon, killing two police officers in the process.

Sahara Reporters gathered that the gunmen robbed First Bank and Skye Bank branches frequented by students and staff of Bowen University.

The robbers killed two police officers before fleeing with their stolen cash. Police pursued the gunmen, but were unable to catch them and found only two vehicles they had abandoned.

The robbers are believed to have fled Iwo town and are still at large.
