Quit notice on Nd'Igbo: Arewa Youth Consultative Forum backtracks on threat to IGBOS

Arewa Youth Consultative Forum has backtracked on the threat issued by the Coalition of Northern Youths to Igbos to leave the North.
Speaking in a video clip, the President of Arewa Youth Consultative Congress, Chief Issac Balami, expressed deep concern and regret with the statement credited to NYC and urged Ndigbo in the North not to panic as their safety as bona fide citizens of Nigeria is assured and reserve the right to reside in any part of the country.
He added that since the ill-conceived order was issued, their office has been inundated with calls by well-meaning Nigerians both at home and in the Diaspora condemning the threat in its entirety.
His words: ''His words: “This is not the time for us to discuss separation. We need to come together. Arewa is known for peace. 
“It is obvious that the initial approach was not the best. We need to work together as a nation
“I want to tell Nigerians living at home and in the diaspora that there is hope. This nation is going nowhere.
“Shettima here wants to assure that everything that he has done was in good faith. This is one Nigeria and we are going nowhere.”
