Graphic: Many fears dead as boat capsize in Kebbi

Scores of villagers have been killed in a horrifying boat mishap that occurred yesterday in Yauri local government area of Kebbi state. The boat which was carrying around 50 people capsized in the river killing at least 16 villagers who were on their way to the market.

17 people are reported to have survived, while others are still missing. The corpses of the victims have been deposited at the General Hospital Yauri. More graphic photos...
