Buhari meets Oyegun over Tinubu's letter

President Muhammadu Buhari Friday met behind closed doors with the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, John Odigie-Oyegun. They met behind closed doors at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja. The APC chairman, who arrived the Presidential Villa at about 3:10pm, left around 3.55pm. He avoided State House correspondents who had wanted to interview him on his mission to the nation's seat of power. It was learnt that Oyegun and Buhari discussed the allegations by the national leader of the party, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, that he was undermining his effort at reconciling aggrieved party members. It was also gathered that the chairman of the ruling party responded to the allegations contained in a seven-page letter written to him by Tinubu.
