Boko Haram kill NEMA official in Borno
Boko Haram terrorists, operating in northern Borno, have killed a staff of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, in Damasak, Mobbar local government area of Borno State.
According to report the NEMA staff was killed during an encounter between troops and the insurgents on Wednesday.
“The late staff John Iliya was an excavator operator attached to the military.
“The DG has dispatched a team to Maiduguri to facilitate the return of his remains to the family.
“The DG and the management also condole with the family of the deceased over the loss,” the statement read.
