We won't Negotiate with Avengers, they are Economic Warriors, - FG
Report yesterday emerged from the presidency why it has not taken seriously the proposed negotiations it planned to carry out with various agitators in the Niger Delta region in other for the militant group to put a stop to its continuous bombing of the nation's assets, notably the Niger Delta Avengers.
The Federal Govt. makes their stance known through the vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Proff. Yemi Osinbajo who said that the freedom fighters are economic warriors who are fighting for their own interest.
Proff. Yemi Osinbajo made this when he delivered a lecture in Elizade University, Ilaramokin, Ondo state, titled, 'the future is here, earlier than we thought.' According to the vice president, 'the so called Avengers are not freedom fighters but fighting for their own economic benefit. They are avenging for their private pockets and that is why the government is not talking with them.'
The vice president however said that the Federal Government has concluded plans on how to tackle the menace of pipelines vandalism in the Niger Delta Region. He also went on and accused the prevoius government for neglecting the people of the Region.

Meanwhile, in response to the Federal Government not negotiating, and the proposed machinery put in place to curtail its activities, the group through its spokes person Mudouch Agbinibo said, should the machinery be mercenaries from Saudi Arabia as it is been circulated in the social media, notably the Blackwater force headed by a retired Major General Anwar Eshki.'We do not care if the Federal Government hires or concludes plans to bring in Bluewater, Graywater, Pinkwater, Whitewater or Blacwater mercenaries from Saudi Arabia. It is non of our business, the said country has its own problem of terrorism, so coming here to help the Nigerian Government is funny.the Niger Delta Region will win this war,' the group added
